There wasn’t one big moment that changed everything for me. No dramatic awakening. No thunderbolt of clarity.

It was more like a quiet ache that kept returning — in conversations that didn’t go deep enough, in jobs that felt fine but not fulfilling, in those early morning hours where something inside me whispered:
“There has to be more than this.”

I’ve always lived between worlds.

The world where you show up, get things done, play your roles.
And the world where your soul is screaming for silence, meaning, beauty, and truth.
For a long time, I thought I had to choose.
Either be successful or spiritual.
Either be grounded or mystical.
Either blend in or go full ascetic.

But something in me refused to settle for either extreme.

That’s how Modern Sādhavi was born — not out of perfection, but from tension. From a real, lived experience of trying to make space for the sacred while still living in a very human, very modern world.

I’ve felt lost in both places — in the world and out of it.
I’ve tried to shut down my feelings to function.
And I’ve tried to escape into spirituality to avoid pain.
Neither worked.

Eventually, I stopped searching for “answers” and started getting curious about my questions.
I started writing.
Not to teach — but to remember.
Not to preach — but to process.

And slowly, piece by piece, I began weaving a life that could hold both — the softness and the strength, the spiritual and the human, the mystical and the mundane.

This blog isn’t about having it all figured out.
It’s about sharing the journey of unfolding.

If you’ve ever felt torn between two worlds — or like you’re too sensitive, too intense, too emotional for the world — you’re not alone.
